Since it was formed five years ago Raw TV has built a track record of producing high quality, popular and award-winning programmes across the genres of documentary, current affairs and factual entertainment for broadcasters including the BBC, Channel 4, Five, CBS, Discovery and many others around the world.

Raw is known for combining creative invention with rigorous storytelling and journalistic integrity - values forged in working with some of the most sensitive organisations in the world from Hamas in Gaza, to the US Army in Iraq and the Israeli Prison Service - but equally relevant to the way we address formatted programmes like Seduction School here in the UK.

Our reputation for the highest quality production values combined with innovative storytelling and an award winning record has ensured we continue to attract some of the best young talent in the country, alongside well established names both in front and behind camera.

The company was founded in 2001 by Dimitri Doganis, who continues as Managing Director and Executive Producer across many of Raw’s productions. Bart Layton joined in early 2005 as Creative Director, moving the company into drama documentaries for the first time and forging new relationships with Discovery UK and US broadcasters. The company’s creative team was further bolstered by Lucy Willis, former commissioning editor at Channel 4’s education department, who arrived as Executive Producer in late 2005.
